Gary R. Reubish 67, Wahpeton, ND quietly passed away on Thursday, June 20th, 2013 in Wahpeton. He was a longtime, dedicated English teacher in Wahpeton and Lake Benton, MN public schools. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 26, at 1:00 PM at Willow Creek Chapel, Wahpeton with Father Dale Lagodinski officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Wahpeton. Arrangements are entrusted to Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton. Gary Richard Reubish was born January 6, 1946 in Breckenridge, MN to Irving and Genevieve (Miller) Reubish. Gary spent his childhood at Tyler ND and on the family farm near Fairmount. He was a graduate of Fairmount High School Class of 1963, North Dakota State School of Science and earned his degree in Education from Valley City State University. Gary served in the North Dakota Air National Guard during the1960's Gary was preceded in death by his father Irving. Survivors include his mother Genevieve Reubish of Wahpeton, brother, John (Karen) Reubish of White Bear Lake, MN, niece, Lisa (David) Buchanan of St Paul, MN, nephews, Scott (Ann) Reubish of St Paul, MN and Jeffrey (Kari) Reubish of North St Paul, MN, as well as nine great nieces and nephews and several cousins.
